HDTV Video Tracker

Southern Research now offers a High-Definition TeleVision(HDTV) Tracker that is based on broadcast standards. This tracker supports HDTV video, up to 1920x1080i at 30 Hz and 1280x720p at 60 Hz, processing resolutions up to 6x that of NTSC video. Video is processed based on two algorithms types: centroid and correlation. The graphics overlay features of the HDTV Tracker are customizable in size, font and color.

Currently we support inputs and outputs in SDI only. The HDTV Tracker can also scale input video for recording or viewing on a Standard Definition (SD) monitors.
